    Detailed Itinerary

      Day 1: Depart from US

      • Fligh to Izmir

      Accommodation: Hotel Kusadasi

          Day 2: Arrive in Izmir

          • Transfer to the hotel in Kusadasi
          • Dinner and overnight

              Day 3: Explore the ancient city of Pergamum

              • Starting with the Red Basilica, home to the 1st Century Christian Church mentioned in Revelation. We visit the Acropolis of Pergamum, modeled after Athens, and the Asclepeion Temple, dedicated to the Greek god of healing. Revelation 2:72-77 mentions Pergamum’s Christian church and refers to it as “Satan’s seat” due to its idolatry. Paul was prohibited from preaching here. We also drive through Izmir, known as Smyrna, another of the Seven.

                Day 4: Drive to Thyatira

                • We will drive to Thyatira, the city where Paul met Lydia, a seller of purple goods.

                • After exploring Thyatira, the journey continues to Sardis, where you can visit the Temple of Artemis, a reconstructed gymnasium, and the largest synagogue in Asia Minor.

                • Following your time in Sardis, you will head to Philadelphia, a city founded by King Attalos II in honor of his brother Eumenes, with aspirations to be a center of Greco-Roman civilization.

                • The day concludes with a return to Kusadasi for dinner and an overnight stay.

                    Day 5: Begin with a visit to Ephesus

                    • Begin with a visit to Ephesus, a significant location where Paul arrived during his second journey. This city is renowned for its beauty and well-preserved ruins.
                    • You will have the opportunity to explore its streets, temples, fountains, baths, terraced houses, and theatres. Notably, Paul preached in Ephesus during his third journey for about two years, performing numerous miracles.
                    • The day includes a special treat at Pamukkale before returning to your hotel in Kusadasi for dinner and an overnight stay.

                        Day 6: Flight to Athens

                        • After breakfast we check out and we transfer to airport for the flight to Athens.
                        • We will be pick up by the local guide and we will have a panoramic tour in Athens, dinner and ovenight in Athens.

                          Day 7: Depart for Corinth

                          • Depart for Corinth with a brief stop at the Corinth Canal, which separates Peloponnese from the Greek mainland and connects the two seas (Ionian and Aegean).

                          • Later visit Corinth which was home for Paul for eighteen months.

                          • We visit the Archaeological Museum, the Berna, the Market Place, and the Temples.

                          • From the Berna at Corinth, Paul spoke to the Corinthians about our Lord and Savior Christ. Return to Athens for dinner and overnight.

                            Day 8: Begin with a visit to Ephesus

                            • After breakfast, depart for Delphi, the ancient oracle where the priestess Pitia influenced history. Visit the archaeological site and museum, featuring notable artifacts like the Charioteer and inscriptions related to proconsul Gallio, which help date Apostle Paul’s life. Next, explore the historic Monastery of Hosios Loukas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Kalambaka.

                                Day 9: Flight to Athens

                                • Travel to Philippi, where Paul preached his first sermon in Europe and baptized Lydia. Visit the Roman Theatre, likely the site of Paul and Silas’s imprisonment. Continue to Kavala and the ancient city of Neapolis, where Paul first landed in Europe. Explore the Roman Aqueduct and Acropolis ruins, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Thessalonica.

                                  Day 10: Depart for Corinth

                                  • After breakfast, check out and transfer to Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) for the return flight to the US.
